My name is HĂ©ric Libong. I build data stories: narratives driven by numbers, designed to be read like a story. My playground is data analysis and visualization applied to concrete topics (sports, current affairs, social issues), with a strong focus on clarity, storytelling, and design. I enjoy transforming raw tables into visual readings that are simple, understandable, and open to discussion.
On this website, you’ll find my articles, projects, and resources: interactive visualizations (D3.js, Flourish, Datawrapper), notebooks and scripts (Python, SQL), and methodological notes on how to move from a question to a dataset, then to a visualization that “speaks.” The goal is twofold: share publishable explorations and document a reproducible process—from the initial idea to the final dataviz.
I also built a series of short courses on working with AI — prompt engineering methods, an introduction to large language models, and how to scope a small AI app. That strand is currently on hold, but it remains available: AI Training.
